We're not a temp agency. Meaning we don't just place our clientele to work at one of our many worksites in the hopes that they don't immediately lose the job because they were unprepared.

We don't just place our youth to work, we prepare them for the hardships, norms, and expectations/requirements that come with employment.

Employment Workshops, Mock Interviews, and Youth Mentorships are just a few of the ways we prepare our young adults to achieve and keep a job!
This six-week course also focuses on some fundmental skills in graphic design, as website development is a very aesthetic-heavy job. Integration of graphic design of some form is almost always required for adequate website aesthetics.

Whether it's a logo, flyer, background, or a well placed image, it's a very useful skill in website development to be able to design these assets yourself and not rely entriely on what you can find online.

We dwell into the creation of graphic design elements utilizing accessible online platform tools, such as Picsart, Pixlr, Adobe Express, Lunapic, etc.

Making it in the tech industry isn't an easy task. It's nowhere near impossible, but it doesn't happen overnight nor do you just magically learn the skills neccesary to succeed in this field.

Practice makes perfect and we provide the perfect environment to grasp some of these fundamentals skills needed to conform to and understand the tech industry on another level.

Have you ever heard the term: "Fake it till you make it!", well we believe that regardless of who an individual is on a professional level that they can still make it in the tech industry with enough insight of and exposure to a tech-industry-like environment.

We provide this experience and so much more with our diverse and expansive curriculum and course setup, so that you can be one step ahead of the rest!

  • Frequent class presentations with the opportunity to develop public speaking and presentation skills commonly needed in the tech industry! ​
  • Mock one-on-one website developer consultations with an emphasis on collecting information, taking notes, proper etiquette, organization, and planning ahead!
  • And various discussions, activities, videos, and live presenters all related to tech industry standards, expectations, and real life examples!

The main and primary focus of this six-week course is to ensure that all participants learn the fundamental principles of web design.

This course allows for all participants to gain the ability to create an online resume, a future business website of their own, or branch out entirely and become a freelance website developer! 

We strive to ensure that all participants will gain, retain, and be able to properly execute the principles of website design in completion of this course.

If you're interested in website design or just want the ability to market yourself or others online, then this is definitely the class for you!
​Participants will get the chance to create some very engaging and resourceful websites:
  • A personal online portfolio to share with the world and continue to improve upon as you continue to further yourself! ​
  • A mock business website that showcases ones ability to mimick the latest trends, follow a consistent pattern, and target an audience with prowess!
  • And let's not forget about a class competition website challenge, in which the top-voted websites will be rewarded with various gift cards!

In completion of the Project YES Tech Class, participants are well rewarded for their time. All being paid for their in-class time, however they're not just gaining a monetary incentive here: The mental and professional experience gained throughout this course is also very rewarding!
