The main and primary focus of this six-week course is to ensure that all participants learn the fundamental principles of web design.

This course allows for all participants to gain the ability to create an online resume, a future business website of their own, or branch out entirely and become a freelance website developer! 

We strive to ensure that all participants will gain, retain, and be able to properly execute the principles of website design in completion of this course.

If you're interested in website design or just want the ability to market yourself or others online, then this is definitely the class for you!
​Participants will get the chance to create some very engaging and resourceful websites:
  • A personal online portfolio to share with the world and continue to improve upon as you continue to further yourself! ​
  • A mock business website that showcases ones ability to mimick the latest trends, follow a consistent pattern, and target an audience with prowess!

This six-week course also focuses on some fundmental skills in graphic design, as website development is a very aesthetic-heavy job. Integration of graphic design of some form is almost always required for adequate website aesthetics.

Whether it's a logo, flyer, background, or a well placed image, it's a very useful skill in website development to be able to design these assets yourself and not rely entriely on what you can find online.

We dwell into the creation of graphic design elements utilizing accessible online platform tools, such as Picsart, Pixlr, Adobe Express, Lunapic, etc.
